AN. ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
CREATING SPECIAL GAS TAX,;STREET
IMPROVEMENT FUND AND RELATING TO THE
CARE AND SXPENDITURE OF MONEYS RECEIVED
FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE:; -5 CHAPTERLI,
DIVISION L OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE.
follows: The Council of the City of Tustin do ordain as
SECTION 1: To comply with the provisions of
Article 5 of Chapter.l of Division 1 of the Streets and
Highways Code, with particular reference to the amendments
made thereto by Chapter 642, Statutes of 19351 there is here-
by breated in the City Treasury a special fund to be known as
the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund."
SECTION 2: All moneys received bye'the City from
the State of California under the provisions of the Streets
and Highways Code for the ecquisition of real property or
interests therein for, or the construction, maintenance or
improvement of streets or highways other than State highways
shall be paid into said fund:
SECTION 3. All moneys in said fond shall be ex-
pended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and sub-
ject to all of the provisions of Article 5, Chapterl, Div-
ision 1 of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published once int -the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper printed,
Published and circulated in the City of Tustin, and hereby
designated for that purpose, and thirty (30) days thereaf-
ter shall take effect and b- in force.
I, J. R. HARBOUR, do hereby certify that I am the
City Clerk of the City of Tustin, and Ex -officio Clerk of the
City Council of the City of Tustin, that the foregoing
ordinance was regularly introduced and read to the said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of Dec-
ember, 1935, and was again read tomsaid Council at its regular
meeting, held on the 6th day of January, 1936, and was at
said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said Council
by the following vote, to—wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Logan, Kiser Schwendeman.
NOES: councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen. Pieper

CREATING SPECIAL GAS TAX STREET
IMPROVEMENT FUND AND RELATING TO THE
CARE AND EXPENDITURE OF MONEYS RECEIVED
FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 5, CHAPTER 1,
DIVISION 1 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHVPAYS
CODE.
The Council'of the City of Tustin do ordain as fol-
lows: .
SEOTION 1: To comply with the provisions of Article 5
.of Chapter 1 of Division 1 of .the Streets and Highways Code,
with particular reference to the amendments made thereto by
Chapter 642, Statutes of 1935, there is hereby created in the.
City Treasury a special fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax
Street Improvement Fund."
SECTION 2: All moneys received by the City from the

Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interests
therein,for,.or the construction, maintenance or improvement of
streets or highways other than State highways shall be paid into
said fund.
SECTION`3: All moneys in said fund shall be expended
exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all
of.the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division l of the
Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the Tustin Newsy a weekly newspaper printed,
published and circulated, in the City of Tustin,, and hereby
designated for that purpose,•and thirty (30) days thereafter
shall.take effect and be in force.
