HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 20 (1929)RAN ORDINANCE NO. 20 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RGULATING THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, DEMTOLITION, CONVERSION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMi=, USE HEIGHT, AREA - AND MTAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURESIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN: PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PER&TITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFOR: DECLARING APdD ESTABLISHING FIRE DISTRICTS; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLP_TION THEREOF: REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THLRE,WITH. The City Council of the City of Tustin do ordain as follows: Section 1. That a certain document on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, being marked and designated as "UNIFOPuui BUILDING CODE", 1927 .Edition, rublished December 1928, by Vac'ific Coast Building Ufficials Conference; be, and the same is herby adopted as the building Code of the City of Tustin for the regulation oi the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupansy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenace of buildings or structures in the i 0 City of Tustin;'providing fot the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; declaring and establishing fire districts and providing penalties for the violation of such Building Code, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said "Uniform Building Code," on file in the office of said Clerk, are her by referred to and are hereby adopted and are hereby made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance; said "UNIFORM: BUILDING CODE", being adopted under the authority of and in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 190 at rage 327, 1927 Status of the State of California. Section 2. All other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances of the said City of Tustin in conflict herewith, if any, are hereby repealed. Section;,. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and approval of this Urdinaance and cause the same to be published once in the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper printed and circulated in The City of Tustin, and thirty days thereafter it shall be in full force and effect. it J.R.
