TH. BOARD OF `TRUSTEES AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'iU3`T'iN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLO43: Section 1. Section Ido. if Ordinance No. 3 of the Uity of 'Tustin, entitled "AI; ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION FOP, THL 'uLERK, 'rREAS- URER, idARSHALL ATID RECORDER; ALSO THE AMO01iT OF THE OFFICIAL BONDS REQUIRED Oit' 'THE FIRST 'T'HR E OFFICIALS 'NAIED", is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2. Phe clerk, treasurer, marshall and recorder, shall severally receive compensation at the rate per month as follows: Clerk @50.00; Treasurer X51.00; -Marshall and / or Chief of volice $150.00; and Recorder and or city Judge ;50:00 per month; each, respectively. Section3. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances in conflict with or inconsistent with the provisions, of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance is an ordinance for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and the facts constituting its urgency are declared as follows:the peace and welfare of the City of Tusti::, as well as the proper enforcement of law and order therein require the services of a Uity Recorder or City Judge, and that it has been ascertained that the duties of said position require practically the full time of the person fil- ing that office, and that the nominal salary of 410.00 per month originally fixed as wholly inadequate, and that the services of a competent man or person to fill said position cannot longer be obtained unless an adequate Salary is provided; for which reason this ordinance shall go into full force and effect immediately upon its final passage and publication as hereinafter directed. Section 5. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be published once in "The Tustin hews", a daily newspaper, printed and circulated in the said City of Austin, California, and thereupon it shall immediately take effect and be in force. I, J.R. Harbour, City Clerk of the City of Tustin, to hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the 3oard of Trustees of the City of `Tustin, held on the 4th day of r'ebruary, 1929, and was finally passed at a regular meet- ing of said Board held on the 4th day of idarch, 1929, by the follow- ing vote: AYES: Trustees or Councilmen: Riser, Logan, Huntley, and Schwendeman. .NOES: Nonev-Trustees or Councilmen.
