AN ORDINANCE PROVIWNG FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN ON THE SECOND MONDAY OF APRIL OF
EVERY EVEN NUMBERED YEARS? THE ESTABLISHMENT OF POLLING PLACES;
APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS? AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN DO .ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTIONI. That a general municipal election be held in -the
City of Tustin on the second Monday in April of every even numbered
year for the purpose of electing such officers as are required by
law to be elected, and voting on propositions to be submitted to
a vote at such election.
SECTI;N 2. That the said election shall be held and conducted
in accordance with the general election laws of the State of Cali -
fornix in so far as the same have been made applicable to elections
in municipalities.of the sixth class.
SECTION 3. The B'da-rd of Trustees and City Council of said
City shall, by resolution, thirty days or more prior,to the day of
such election, state the date and character of such election, set
forth the names and terms of theofficesto be filled at,.such
election, a description of the boundaries and -names of the precincts
established for the purpose of holding the said eleaction, establish
the place where the polls shall be, located, appoint ,the persons who
shall serve as election officers at said eletions, and fix the com-
pensation to be paid the election officers.
SECTION 4. That notice of said election be given by the City
Clerk of said City by publishing a notice of the holding of said
election in the newspaper authorized to `do the publishing for said
City,, for three successive weeks, prior to the date of the said
election, which said notice shall state the date and :.character of
said election, the names and terms of the offices to be filled by
said election, a description of the boundaries and the names of
the precincts established for the purpose of holding the said elec-
tion, the place where the polls shall be located, the names of
the persons appointed to conduct the said election, and the time
when the polls shall be closed:
SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Tustin„ shall post
or cause to be posted, copies of this ordinance in three public
places in the :City.. of.:1:u.st_in, t.o-wit:.,;,;one. near the entrance to
the Snights.of Pythias _fail,. the place. whexe said..L"ity-,Council
holds its meetings, one. near..the- entrance .to=th-e- -United States
Post Offiae..and,one.asear_the entrance to the -First National Bank
of Tustin.

I, the undersigned, City Clerk of the City`of Tustin, Calif.,
and ex -Officio Clerk of the Board of Trustees of said City, hereby
certify that the foregoing ordinance is a true and correct copy of
Ordinance No. 10 of said City, which was introduced at a regular
meeting of said Board of Trustees held on January 16,1928, and was
finally passed at a regular meeting of said Board on the 21:6t day
Of February, 1928, being not less than five days thereafter, by
the following stated vote:

NOES: TRUSTEES: ".'ONE.
ABSENT:: TRUSTEES: NONE.
I hereby certify that upon its passage said Ordinance was
thereupon signed by the Mayor and President of the Board of Trus-
tees of said City, and thereafter on the 21st day of Febraary;
1928, I'post'ed true copies of said Ordinance, Conspicuously; in
three public places in the City of Tustin, to -wit: one.at tiie-
entrance to the Knights of Pythias Hall, the place where the Board
of Trustees holds its meetings, one near the entrance to the -
United United States Post Office, and one near the entrance to the First

National Bank -'of Tustin. .
