Replacement Project is complete, and all of the upgrade requirements are met as mandated. The City fuel island is
now in full operation.
The contractor was Miller Brooks Environmental, Inc.
This work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. The final contract amount of
$321,009.52 represents a decrease of 1.6 percent from the original contract amount of $326,286.30. The decrease
was due to deletion of the tree and curb and gutter removal and replacement bid items that the contractor was able
to protect in place and also due to liquidated damages withheld from the final contract amount.
Therefore, it is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 99-62 accepting the project as complete
and authorize the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
