Dear Darin:
The Tustin Public Schools Foundation (TPSF) is holding its ninth annual Dinosaur Dash on
November 14, 1999 at the Tustin Market Place. We are writing to respectfully request the
necessary permits required to hold such an event in the city, including the banner permit.
In the past, you have been kind enough to handle necessary permits and to prepare a report to
the City Council requesting a waiver of all permit fees and costs incurred by the police
department and field services. Can you do so again this year? At this time there are no
si~ifieant changes planned from last year, except that we probably will not include the roller
blade event this year.
We would also like to reserve space at Columbus Tustin Gym or the community room at the
Civic Center for our pre-registration headquarters from Friday, November 12, 1999 at 8am
through Saturday, November 13, 1999 at 7pm. Please let us know if either of these locations
is available. Because we hand out T-shirts on these two days, it would be important to be
able to store and secure the T-shirts over night on the premises. Thank you.
