APPROVAL OF MINUTES- MAY 17, 1999 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Ports, seconded by Doyle, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of May .17, 1999. Motion carded 5-0. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Ports, seconded by Doyle, to approve Demands in the amount of $551,709.81. Motion carded'S-0. REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES Page 2, 6-7-99 i ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZATION TO FILE THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE SYCAMORE AVENUE STORM DRAIN AND BLOCK WALL IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN NEWPORT AVENUE AND SR-5S FREEWAY (PRO3ECT NO. 700149) It was moved by Potts, seconded by Doyle, to concur with and authorize the City Council to accept the work as complete and authorize the recordation of the Notice of Completion. Motion carded 5-0. i APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. I TO DISPOSTTION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE V~CINTi'Y OF EL CAMINO REAL AND NEWPORT AVENUE It was moved by Ports, seconded by Doyle, to (1) Approve Amendment No. I to the DDA between the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency,'Ford Family Trust ("Owner'3,. DeBeikes Investment Company ("Developer'3 and Warmingl~on Homes California ("Contractor'~ for rehabilitaUon of the commercial properties located at 715-765 El Camino Real, and (2) Appropriate an additional amount of $25,000 out of the Town Center Redevelopment Project tax increment funds, thereby increasing the total amount to $190,000 for the rehabilitation of the commercial properties. Motion carried 5-0. OTHER BUSINESS CTi'Y FAcILI'T]:ES RENTAL FEES Agencymember Ports reported that a Paid Call'Firefighter informed him that rental fees for City facilities included time spent for set-up and requested staff review the policy to allow cost-flee set up time. STATE OF THE CTTY Chair Wodey reported that at the State of the City fur~on, one of the questions asked was what steps the City was taking to combat gun violence. CLOSED SESSION - None AD3OURNMENT Chair Worley adjoumed the meeting at 10:15 p.m. The next regular meeting'of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, June 21, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
