Adopt Resolution No. 99-12 modifying the Appendix (Designated Positions)contained in the
City's Conflict of Interest Code to delete the positions of Tustin Community Foundation Board
of Directors and Tustin Community Foundation ExecutiVe Director.
FISCAL IMPACT
None
BACKGROUND
The Appendix (Designated .Positions) of the City's Conflict of Interest Code defines those
officials and employees who are required to file Statements of Economic Interests (Form
700). Annually, the Designated Positions should be modified to reflect changes that have
occurred in the City's Classification Plan or to reflect additions/deletions of positions as
determined by the City Attorney.
On July 7,. 1998, the City Council authorized autonomy for the Tustin Community
Foundation. This autonomy eliminates the necessity for the positions of Tustin Community
Foundation Board Member and the Executive Director to file Statements of Economic
Interests with the City Clerk.
With adoption of Resolution No. 99-12, the Designated Positions will be amended to delete
the positions of Tustin Community Poundation Board of Directors and the Tustin Community
Foundation Executive Director.
