PROGRESS REPORT: ItE~AGE PARK (PROJECT NO. 400042} AND
FRONTIER PARK/PINE TREE PARK RESTROOM RENOVATION
(PROJECT NOS. 200030/400034)
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive and file.
BACKGROUND:
The City Council has requested monthly progress reports on the stares of Heritage Park
and Frontier Park / Pine Tree Park Restrooms. As of this date the parks are proceeding as
follows:
Heritage Park (Project No. 400042)
· The project is 100% complete.
· Notice of Substantial Completion was authorized on October 30, 1998.
· The punch list inspection has begun, and the 90-day maintenance period is proceeding.
· The park is currently under a one-year warranty for certain amenities, in conformance
with the original contract.
· Dedication was held on Saturday, October 31, 1998, with over 600 people in
attendance.
· Hydroseeding began on Monday, October 19~ and will take approximately 75 days to
completely germinate and be ready for public play.
Fromier Park/Pine Tree Park Restroom Renovation (Project Nos. '200030/400034)
· Restrooms at both parks have been demolished.
· Frontier and Pine Tree overexcavation is complete and approved.
· Footings and rebar are complete.
· Masonry block is in progress at both parks, and framing is to begin the week of
November 10~.
· Temporary irrigation has been arranged, and electric power has been installed and
turned on.
· Target for substantial completion is mid January.
