APPROVAL OF MINUTES- SEPTEMBER 8, 1998 REGULAR MEETING Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of September 8, 1998. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS 3, Recommendation: Approve Demands in the amount of $396,559.08. PUBLIC HEARING: APPROVAL OF DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF SIXTH STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL Agency approval is requested for two Disposition and Development Agreements (DDA) for two adjacent sites to be redeveloped in the Town Center Project Area. Recommendation by the Redevelopment Agency staff: 1. Open and close the Public Hearing. . Adopt the following Resolution Nos. RDA 98-6 and RDA 98-7 certifying the Negative Declarations as adequate for both proposed Disposition and Development Agreements: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 98-6 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE DDA BETWEEN THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, THE FORD FAMILY TRUST AND DEBEIKES INVESTMENT COMPANY FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 715-765 EL CAMINO REAL Agenda- Redevelopment Agency September 21, 1998 - Page 1 RESOLUTION '~. THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR .THE DDA BETWEEN THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND WARMINGTON OLD TOWN ASSOCIATES, L.P. FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 120-250 SIXTH STREET . Subject to non-substantive modifications approved by the Executive Director and AsencY Counsel, authorize the Executive Director to execute: (a) The DDA between the Tustin Community Redevelopment A§ency and Warminston Old Town Associates, L.P. for a new 38-unit single family residential development project on the site located at 120-250 Sixth Street; and (b) The DDA between the Tustin Community Redevelopment A§ency,. Ford Family Trust ("Owner"), DeBeikes Investment Company ("Developer") and Warminston Homes California ("Contractor") for rehabilitation of the commercial properties located at 715-765 El Camino Real. . Appropriate $1,665,500 from the Housin§ Set-Aside Fund for the Town Center Redevelopment Project for the development of affordable housing units and $165,000 from the Town Center Redevelopment Project tax increment funds for the rehabilitation of the commercial properties. OTHER BUSINESS CLOSED SESSION None ADJOURNMENT The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
