PROGRESS REPORT: CEDAR GROVE PARK (PROJECT NO. 400041)
AND HERITAGE PARK (PROJECT NO. 400042)
SUMMARY: City Council has requested monthly progress reportS' On Cedar' Grove and
Heritage Parks.

RECOMMENDATION:
Receive and file.
BACKGROUND:
CitY Council has requested monthly progress reports On the stares of Cedar Grove and
Heritage Parks. As of this date the pm'ks are proceeding as follows:
Cedar Grove Park .(Project N°. 400041)
The Project .is approximately 100% complete.' All that remains are the following:
· Completion of the punch list inspection
· Re-circuiting of the flagpole light circuits (to leave flagpole lights on all night)
· Repair of the drinking fountain
· Irrigation repairs
· The remainder of the 90-day maintenance period
The 90-day maintenance period has been extended 30 days to give the contractor an
oppommity to repair and plant additional landscaping as per the orig~al specifications.
Repairs have been made to the tot lot area to repair two hazards that have been noticed
since the park opened.
Heritage Park .(Project No. 400042)
· The overall project is 55% complete.
· The hockey rink concrete has been poured and footings are complete.
· The underground drainage system is 95% complete, and all the drain structures have
been installed.
· The restroom building is 95% complete, with the block and rebar complete,
-doorframes installed and masonry finished.
· The basketball court slab is now complete.
· The curb and gutter on-site are 90% complete.
· Installation of valves, laterals and electric conduit is'in place for the irrigation system
· The excess dirt has been hauled away and final grading is underway.
· Recent inspections of the tot lot fall zones found that the exact dimension
specifications for toys are in order.
