The State established standardized procedures local governments rr►ust u5e when considering the subdivision of land that are intended to ensure that adequate public services will be provided to new subdivisions. Defers regulation and control of the design and improvement of subdivisions to the local agency. ■ Tustin Subdivision Code Adopted in 1952. Last comprehensive update — 1g81. Ordinance of regulations consistent with Sub. Map Act for processing of subdivision applications. ■ Administration ■ All subdivision applications to go through one department (CDD) eliminating confusion/increasing coordination. Lot Line Adjustments/Tentative and Final Maps Lot line adjustments, parcel and tract maps to be processed like every other discretionary application (Design Review, Concept Review, Conditional Use Permit). Lot Line Adjustments/Final Maps are not discretionary "ministerial." Substantial changes go back to decision maker. Minor changes may be approved by the Director. No lots, units, or building sites/structures added. The changes are consistent with intent and spirit of the approved tentative map.
