Wc have received nuracrous requests to bring the Miss Tustm Scholarship Pageant back to Tustin.
I have been doing a lot of research for the last year to see if would be feasible. Contacting the Miss
America Headquarters I have found that by having a franchise of the Miss America Pageant, rhst wc will be
covered by A Million-Dollar' Insurance Policy and then our Miss Tusrin would be elig~le for the Miss
Cahfornia Pageant and the Miss Amc-fica Pageant.
I have contacted several people and have framed a dynamic co.,~"ittee, Linda Andrews, Bev Bsrringlx~
Kim Bass, Kem~ Hobson, Donna Sprenger, Hillmy Baker, Jill Leach, Lynn Brennsn, Bs~om-a Hanne§mz,
Joe & leffDe Camp, Eva Costfllio, Michelle O'Donoghue, Ceil ~ and myself- We are planning ~o
have thc pageant somctimc in March of 1999.
The fraachise is going to cost $600.00. We are looking for a loan from thc Council of $2000.00 as seed
money to be paid back ~ the f~st Miss Tustin Pageant.
We will be earning monies from sponsorships, and help from ibc community. We hope ~o be able to give
scholarship money of approximately $5000.00.
If you have any qucstions plcasc givc mc a call.
