GRAD NIGHT '98 is an all-night' spectacular extrava~anza planned for our graduating seniors as a great way for them to end their hi~ school years w4th their classmates in a safe and fun environment, and to ~ve them the gift of sunrise after graduation. Foothill and Tusfin Hi~ Schools, each celebrate Grad Night as a senior-only pan3, on their respective camPuses. These fabulous party will be~n at 9:00 p.m. graduation evening and 4411 conclude the next morning at daybreak A portion of each campus is transformed into a ma~cal environment based on a chosen' theme. Activities will include a casino, games, prizes, live entertainment, photo~m-aphs and much more, and food will .also be served throughout the night All construction and staffing during Grad Night is done entirely by parent volunt~rs. About 80% of Grad Night funding comes from selling tickets to the seniors, and the various businesses in the community also donate food prizes, materials, etc. We the chairpersons of GRAD NIGHT '98 at both Foothill 'and Tustin High Schools are requesting a donation for each school, and we woUld like to appear at the'next scheduled council meeting on March 2. In the past the City has supported the Grad Nights with a contr/bution to each school. Where could our children go for so long, do so much and spend so little, and in a safe envirOnment? We could not ~ve our seniors this ldnd of part)' individually, but with your help, both high schools ~411 be able to ~ve the graduating students a celebration to remember, long after graduation. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have in regards to GRAD NIGHT '98. Thank you for your time and consideration.- Sincerely, Judy C.
