HUSTON, CITY MANAGER OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK ORDINANCE NO. 1195, REGULATION AND OPERATION OF AMBULANCES RECOMMENDATION: Have Second reading by title only and adoption of Ordinance No. 1195 (roll call vote). BACKGROUND: The following Ordinance No.. 1195 had first reading and introduction atthe February 17, 1998 City Council meeting: ORDINANCE NO. 1195 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 3421.5 AND 3426.2 OF ARTICLE 3, CHAPTER 4, PART 2' OF THE TUSTIN MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING THE REGULATION AND OPERATION OF AMBULANCES WITHIN THE CITY Valerie Crabill Chief Deputy City Clerk 1 :ORDMEMO 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1195 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 25 26 27 28 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 3421.5 AND 3426.2 OF ARTICLE 3, CHAPTER 4, PART 2 OF THE TUSTIN MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING THE REGULATION AND OPERATION OF AMBULANCES WITHIN THE CITY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 3421.5 of the Tustin Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a new definition of "Fire Chief" to read as follows: "Fire Chief" means the Fire Chief of the Orange County Fire Authority. SECTION 2. Section 3426.2 of the Tustin Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a second sentence to read as follows: "No licensee shall charge more for Advanced Life Support than those rates aPproved by the City or the Board of .SupervisOrs." SECTION 3. If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this Ordinance is, for any reason, held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City Couhcil hereby declares that it would have adopted this Ordinance and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, Or portion thereof, irrespective .of the fact that any one or more sections, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portions' thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
