We were extremely successful in our goal of serving the children of Tustin. We also promoted school and community unity by having clubs, sport teams, and interested students participate. We transformed Tustin High School into a miniature neighborhood where children could go door to door for candy. Even though we had many donations of time and effort, it was still not enough. Without the generous gift of $2000 by the Tustin City Council, we would not have made it. We cannot tell you how much it was appreciated. As you know, the Tiller Trick-or-Treat was a tremendous success, one need only watch Tustin Cable and watch the re-runs. There were over 1500 children that we were able to serve. This year will prove to be as successful, as we are planning to expand to allow for more children. That is why we are asking that you may allow us to have this opportunity again by granting another gift. We are at this time requesting that you allow us to come before you and present our plan at the earliest possible council meeting. Our hope is that together we may achieve another successful and safe event. Thank you, Tim O'Donoghue Dean of Students ASB President
