APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JULY 7, 1997 REGULAR MEETING , . Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of July 7, 1997. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS Recommendation' ApProve Demands in the amount of $33,921.88. APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO · ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE SYCAMORE AVENUE STORM DRAIN AND BLOCK WALL PROJECT BETWEEN NEWPORT AVENUE AND THE SR-55 FREEWAY (ClP NO. 700149 RDA) This project'provides for the construction of a masonry block screen wall along the southside of Sycamore Avenue, beginning at Newport Avenue and extending westerly to the SR-55 Freeway. It also includes construction of a reinforced concrete pipe storm drain system to replace the existing ditches which currentl'y convey water from both sides of Sycamore Avenue to Newport Avenue. Plans and specifications are ready for approval and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. Recommendation by the Public Works Department/Engineering Division: , Adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 97-2 authorizing the City Council to approve the plans and specifications for the Sycamore Avenue Storm. Drain and Block Wall Project between Newport Avenue and the SR-55 Freeway and authorizing the City Clerk to advertise this project for bids: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 97-2 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AG'ENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SYCAMORE AVENUE STORM DRAIN AND BLOCK WALL PROJECT BETWEEN NEWPORT AVENUE AND THE SR-55 FREEWAY, AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (CIP NO. 700149 R'DA) . Authorize the City Council and staff to administrate all future consultant agreements, bid documents and construction contracts. RedeVelopment Agency Agenda I July 21, 1997 . AMENDMENT Nb. 2 TO SHEA HOMES DISPO.~,I'ION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT Shea Homes has requested an amendment to their Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) with the Agency to remove an obstacle to their sale of six additional moderate income restricted units. Recommendation: Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) between the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency and Shea Homes Limited Partnership, subject to any minor modifications made with approval of the City Attorney as recommended by the Assistant City Manager. OTHER BUSINESS CLOSED SESSION- The Agency members shall convene in closed session to confer with Agency counsel about the initiation of litigation, one (1) case. Government Code Section 54956.9(c). ADJOURNMENT- The next regular.meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for Monday, August 4, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
