Mr. Donnie L. Smith, Chair
Audit Committee, City of Tustin
Dear Donnie.
Please accept this letter as an expression of my strong interest in being considered
for reappointment to the Audit Committee for another four 3'ear term.
My qualifications include a bachelors degree in Business Administration from
UCLA, a licensed CPA and accreditation as a Personal Financial Planner from UCI.
I am good at financial analysis. My CPA Certificate testifies that I ant a licensed
auditor. I have ample experience as an auditor, and certainly, the Audit Con~mittee
should have at least one CPA member to offer guidance in the selection of the
outside CPA firm to audit the City's books and records.
I have served on the Audit Committee, City of Tustin, since it's inception in 1987
and found this area of service to be most challenging and satisfying. During this
p'eriod, with my close association with thc members of Council and Staff, I have
found them to be high quality people who make decisions based on values as
opposed to impulse.
I look forward to serving this ethical family for another four years.
Very.Truly Yours,
Walter T. Sullens, CPA, PFP
