You probably saw the news in our Feb./March Heritage that the sale of Carol Jordan's book, Tustin: A City of Trees, has brought us a very nice one time fmancial return. My board has even voted to spend some of that money to buy a state of the art computer. Further four corporate sponsors have provided funds that permit us to send the Heritage to a number of Tustin area people that are not yet members. We have already gained at least 15 new members. If the City could again this year contribute $5,700 for our rent it would help us to expand our efforts to contact more Tustin Area non-members. Although we have no new suggestions we are still interested in working with the City to find an appropriate building in Old Town to house the museum where rent payment would no longer be a part of our budget. Please extend our thanks to the City Council for their continued interest in preserving the historic buildings and the flavor of Old Town Tustin. Sincerely, David W. Bryant, Presiden~/- 1331 Bryan Ave. Tustin, CA 92780 714-838-6751
