1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - APRIL 21, 1997 REGULAR MEETING
Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of April 21, 1997.
2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
Recommendation: Approve Demands in the amount of $346,206.23.

AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR DEMOLITION OF CASE SWAYNE
BUILDING
As part of the extension of Newport Avenue from its terminus to Valencia Avenue,
the Redevelopment Agency purchased the property at 1021 Edinger Avenue from the
Case Swayne Company in 1994. The property is to be Used for right-of-way for
Newport Avenue. This action will approve the specifications for the demolition of
the building on the property and authorize the advertisement for bids.
Recommendation: Adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 97-1 approving
specifications for demolition of the building at 1021 East Edinger Avenue and
authorizing the advertising of bids for the project as recommended by the
Redevelopment Agency staff:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 97-1 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING AT 1021 EAST
EDINGER AVENUE AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
OTHER BUSINESS
CLOSED SESSION- The Agency members will convene in closed session with Agency
counsel to confer about real property negotiations, specifically: 191-195 E. Main Street,
Tustin; Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency and June and Martin Perfit; negotiations
will concern price and terms of payment.
ADJOURNMENT- The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled
for Monday, May 19, 1997, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council 'Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
