Maintenance agreement for private property locations.
Pedestal and installation under separate contract.
Fo Budget
Sponsoring individuals or organizations fund the design, fabrication,
installation, and any necessary landscaping, paving, or lighting
modifications. City Council may fund the pedestal & maintenance.
o Estimated $10,000 to design and fabricate; $5,000 for pedestal.
,�o On July 22, 2014, the Planning Commission recommended
that the City Council adopt the Program with the following
changes:
Evaluate other materials,
Provide information on City's website,
Allow funding to be private or public,
Require bust to be donated to the City,
Establish a list of founding pioneers to be given preference for initial
recognition,
o Feature City logo or seal on the pedestal plaque.

Consideration of project budget and approval of program

Call for nominations
Ad-hoc Committee and Commission Review
o Design, Fabrication, Installation, and Dedication

Approve the Program Guidelines; and
Direct staff to:
Obtain necessary proposals from artists and manufacturers,
o Consult with the Ad-hoc review committee to select an artist and
manufacturer,
Determine the proposed budget, and
Bring back the item for City Council review and approval.
