The City took this action in recognition of not only OCSD's desire to transfer the sewers, but also because of the benefits that EOCWD can provide to the ratepayers of Local Sewer Area #7. Based on EOCWD history of customer service and frugal governance in supplying imported water to the region, we expect this transfer will provide improved emergency response times to Tustin residents and stability in customer rates.
