RECOMMENDATION:
Have second reading by title only and adoption of Ordinance No. 1089
(roll call vote) .
BACKGROUND:
The following Ordinance No. 1089 had first reading and introduction
at the May 18, 1992 City Council meeting:
ORDINANCE NO. 1089 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING ZONE CHANGE 92-001, A REQUEST TO
CHANGE THE DESIGNATION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14442 HOLT AVENUE
FROM E-4 (RESIDENTIAL ESTATE DISTRICT) TO R-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH CITY

TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING ZONE

DISTRICT)
The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as
follows:
I. The City Council finds and determines as follows:
A. That Zone Change 92-001 was submitted to the City
Council by J. P. Greubel Company for consideration.
B. That a public hearing was duly noticed, called and
held on said application by the Planning Commission
on March 23, 1992, and the item was continued to
April 13, 1992, whereby the Planning

by the City Council on May 4, 1992, and the item
was continued to May 18, 1992.

elements of the Tustin Area General Plan, and in

development.
E. That the proposed Zone Change to R-1 (Single -Family
Residential District) is in the best interest

surrounding area in that the proposed land use
district designation of R-1 is compatibile with
uses surrounding the development.
II. The City Council hereby approves Zone Change 92-001
changing the zoning designation of the property located
at 14442 Holt Avenue from E-4 (Residential Estate
District) to R-1 (Single -Family Residential District) as
shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto.

Ordinance No. 1089 was duly and regularly introduced and read
at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 18th day of May, 1992, and was given its second reading
and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 1st day of June, 1992, by the following
