A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BIOFILTRATION RETROFIT —
EDINGER/RED HILL/VALENCIA/KENSINGTON PARK
QUADRANT (CIP NO. 50041) CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California
to contract for the retrofit the catch basins within Armstrong Avenue, Lansdowne Road,
Severyns Road, Valencia Avenue, and Kensington Park Drive (CIP No. 50041); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and specifications for the
construction of said work; and
WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); Class 1, Section 15301: Existing Facilities
and Class 3, Section 15303: Facilities Conversion; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications
presented by the City Engineer are hereby approved as the plans and specifications for:
Biofiltration Retrofit — Edinger / Red Hill / Valencia / Kensington Park
•Quadrant Construction Project, Project CIP No. 50041;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for
the performance of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications;
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Tustin held on the 3rd day of February, 2015.
