COMPENSATION OF
RECOMMENDATION:
That Resolution No. 96-21 relating to compensation of confidential employees be
adopted by the City Council to grant confidential employees the same compensation
and benefits as other general employees.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total cost for confidential employees is approximately $4,000.
DISCUSSION'
In order to keep Confidential Employees' compensation and benefits equivalent to
those received by other non-management, non-sworn employees a resolution is
necessary since these employees are unrepresented and do not have a memorandum
of understanding with the City. Compensation and benefits described in the
resolution are the same as those received by other non-sworn, non-management
employees in comparable positions.
