CELANO, JR., CHIEF OF POLICE SUBJECT: CITY OF TUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT 2014 YEAR IN REVIEW SUMMARY Throughout the year, staff members from the Police Department are involved in a variety of projects and programs that impact the overall safety and security of the Tustin tommunity. Additionally, the Police Department sets annual goals related to crime and traffic issues. The Police Department 2014 Year in Review presentation gives a brief overview of the organizational structure of the PD, highlights some of the goals and accomplishments, and touches on some ideas for the future. RECOMMENDATION That the City Council receive and file the report. FISCAL IMPACT None CORRELATION TO THE STRATEGIC PLAN This year in review correlates to the City's strategic plan by implementing Goal B, Ensure Tustin is an attractive, safe and well maintained community in which people feel pride. Three Orange County agencies are accredited.
