APPROVAL OF MINUTES- AUGUST 5, 1996 REGULAR MEETING Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of August 5, 1996. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS Recommendation: Approve Demands in the amount of 8419,408.56. 3. MODIFICATION TO HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM The proposed modification of the Multi-Family Housing Rehabilitation Program would increase the amount of available funds for the mandatory paint grant program for required properties with multiple structures for exterior painting from 83,000.00 per property to 89,000.00 per property. These additional funds will be treated as a "forgiven loan" with repayment not required if the.property owner adheres to a strict standard of property maintenance for five years. Recommendation: Authorize staff to increase the amount available for exterior painting, as part of the City's Residential Rehabilitation Program, from ~3,000.00 per property to 89,000.00 per property; and each par.ticipant is subject to execution of legal documents as prepared by the City Attorney's Office, as recommended by the Redevelopment Agency staff. OTHER BUSINESS CLOSED SESSION- The Redevelopment Agency will convene in closed session to confer with general counsel pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 regarding real property negotiations at 14001 and 14011 Newport Avenue; 730, 750, and 770 El Camino Real; 725, 600-712 El Camino Way; Tustin, California. The parties involved are: the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency and the State of California, Csik Zoltan, The Philip L. Crawford Trust of Omega Trust, Tustin Motor Lodge, the Jessee T. Anderson Trust and the William R. Zappas Trust. ADJOURNMENT- The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
