CALL TO ORDER The meeting'was called to order by Mayor Kennedy at 4:12 p.m. in the Conference Room, 300 Centennial Way. II. ROLL CALL Councilpersons Present: Ursula E. Kennedy, Mayor Frank H. Greinke, Mayor Pro Tem Richard B. Edgar Ronald B. Hoesterey Donald J. Saltarelli Councilpersons Absent: None Others Present: William A. Huston, City Manager Mary E. Wynn, City Clerk Donald D. Lamm, Com. Development Director Robert S. Ledendeckep, Dir. of Public Works Charles R. Thayer, Chief of Police Ronald Nault, Finance Director Royleen White, Director of Adm. & Corn. Serv. Police Captain Willjams Police Captain Wakefield III. NEW BUSINESS 1. BUDGET REVIEW The City Manager gave a general overview report on the Budget. Council discussion followed. Each Department Head gave a synopsis of their department's budget requests. Council discussion followed. 2. BUDGET A. APROPRIATION It was moved b~' Hoesterey, seconded b~/Greinke, .to appropriate $150,000 for legal and engineering expenses incurred regarding the American High Speed Rail project. Motion carried 5-0. IV. ADJOURNMEIIT- The meeting was adjourned at 6:02 p.m. to an adjourned regular meeting on June 6, 1984, at 4:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, and thence to the next regular meeting on June 18, 1984, at 7:00 p.m. "'Y~~ CLERK <~
