STATUS UPDATE - ARCADA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION'S REQUEST TO
SUBJECT: REMOVE ON -STREET PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON MYFORD ROAD AND
HERITAGE WAY
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Receive and File.
BACKGROUND:
At the City Council meeting on December 21, 1992, the Council
directed staff to conduct an internal study to consider easing
parking restrictions on Myford Road and Heritage Way.
DISCUSSION:
The Engineering Division staff is currently in the process of
conducting a study that will address the parking conditions on
Myford Road and Heritage Way. Due to the comprehensive nature of
the study, it is anticipated that a final report will not be
available for Council review until one of the City Council meetings
in February 1993, at the earliest.
The Arcada Community Association will be notified of this update
and a copy of the final report will be forwarded to them prior to
the particular City Council meeting where this matter will be
considered.
This is a status update only and no Council action, other than to
receive and file, is necessary at this time.
