REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY kzDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
OCTOBER 19, 1992
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Pontious at 8:15 p.m.
at the Tustin Area Senior Center, 200 South "C" Street, Tustin,
California.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - OCTOBER 5, 1992 REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve the
Redevelopment Agency Minutes of October 5, 1992.
Motion carried 5-0.
It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in
the amount of $71,171.92.
Motion carried 5-0.
5. 1992-93 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET
Agency Member Saltarelli suggested adoption of the budget and
requested reviewing the Redevelopment Agency budget at mid -year to
allow Council additional study of the direct cost allocations.
William Huston, Executive Director, responded that at the mid -year
budget review, staff would provide more detail on the cost
allocations and report on the results of immediate implementation
of a Redevelopment area direct charge system.

Agency Member Saltarelli suggested focusing on direct costs versus
indirect costs.
It was moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Potts, to adopt the
following Resolution No. RDA 92-15, approving the Redevelopment
Agency budget:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 92-15 - A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
THE AGENCY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE OF THE AGENCY FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1992-93
Agency Member Thomas requested a workshop to clarify Redevelopment
Agency operations.
William Huston, Executive Director, said a workshop would be
scheduled in thirty days to cover details of Agency operations,
and a January workshop would be scheduled on legal limitations,
future project financing plans, and policy issues of the Agency.
Agency Member Saltarelli stated it was important for the City to
move forward and aggressively seek programs/development that would
enhance the Redevelopment areas.
Motion carried 5-0.

7. ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Pontious adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m. The next
regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for
Monday, November 2, 1992, 7:00 p.m., at the Tustin Area Senior
Center.
