CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Pontious at 9:30 p.m. at the Tustin Area Senior Center, 200 South "C" Street, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Leslie Anne Pontious, Chairperson Jim Potts, Chairperson Pro Tem Charles E. Puckett Thomas R. Saltarelli Jeffery M. Thomas Members Absent: None Recording Secretary: Mary E. Wynn Others Present: William A. Huston, Executive Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney Christine Shingleton, Asst. Executive Director W. Douglas Franks, Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Rita Westfield, Asst. Dir./Comm. Development Dana Kasdan, Engineering Services Manager Rick Brown, Building Official Gary Veeh, Water Operations Manager Doug Anderson, Transportation Engineer Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent Irma Hernandez, Administrative Assistant Valerie Whiteman, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 80 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 8, 1992 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Puckett. seconded by Thomas, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of September 8, 1992. Motion carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Puckett, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in the amount of $215,172.14. Motion carried 5-0. S. DESIGN REVIEW 92-038, TUSTIN TIRE AND BRAKE Christine Shingleton, Assistant Executive Director, reported the Planning Commission recommended approval of Design Review 92-038 authorizing the expansion of an existing tire and brake service use and construction of a new service building, including modifications to the parking lot and landscape areas, located at 135 South Prospect Avenue. The project site was located in the Town Center Redevelopment Project Area requiring final design review approval of the proposed site improvements by the Redevelopment Agency. It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Puckett, to approve Design . Review 92-038 by adopting the following Resolution No. RDA 92-16: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 92-16 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING DESIGN REVIEW 92-038 AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SERVICE BUILDING INCLUDING MODIFICATIONS TO THE PARKING LOT AND LANDSCAPE AREAS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 135 SOUTH PROSPECT AVENUE Motion carried 5-0. 6. 1992-93 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET It was moved by Thomas, seconded by Potts, to continue this item to the October 5, 1992 Redevelopment Agency meeting. Motion carried 5-0. 7. OTHER BUSINESS - None S. ADJOURNMENT Chairperson Pontious adjourned the meeting at 9:35 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, October 5, 1992, 7:00 p.m., at the Tustin Area Senior Center.
