HUSTON, CITY MANAGER FROM: PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF REVISIONS TO LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. 93-3 RECOMMENDATIONS~ That the City Council., at their meeting of October, 19, 1993, adopt the attached resolution approving reVisi°ns to Lot Line Adjustment 93-3. FISCAL IMPACT% None. BACKGROUND: The original Lot Line ~Adjustment No. 93-3 was approved at the City Council meeting of May 17, 1993 by Resolution No. 93-52. DISCUSSION: After the ~ecordation of the original subject document, the developer's title insurance company did not agree with several of the drafting procedures. As a result of the changes made, the County Recorder's office deemed the requested corrections a change of legal description and therefore required the documents to be recorded again. The changes made consist of the following: 1. ,,Proposed" struck out wherever lot label appears. 2. Two arrows (dimensional) on sheet 2 of 5 relocated. 3. Right-of-way line for Newport Avenue, Laguna Road (El Camino Real) and pending State Highway revised from solid line to dashed line. These changes do not substantially change the character or intent of the original document. The changes were requested for clarification. Robert S. RESOLUTION NO. 93-113 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING REVISIONS TO LOT LINE AE~-USTMENT NO. 93-3 WHEREAS, Section 66412 (d) of the Subdivision Map Act makes provisions for the local agency to approve lot line adjustments where the land taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin has previously approved Lot Line Adjustment 93-3 by adopting Resolution 93-52 and has made a finding that revisions made to Lot Line Adjustment 93-3 to correct drafting errors do not substantially change the character or intent of the original lot line adjustment; and finding that the real' property described in Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B complies with the provisions of the California SubdivisiOn Map Act and applicable City of Tustin ordinances and regulations including the requirements for building sites; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed revisions to Lot Line Adjustment 93-3, as shown on Exhibit B are hereby approved and that the parcels be considered building sites upon recordation of this document.
