There are tentative plans to expand the existing facility sometime in the future. At the time that the expansion project is scheduled and designed the necessary environmental review will be completed. An Initial Study for the acquisition of the property has been completed and it has been determined that this acquisition project qualifies as a Negative Declaration per CEQA and EIR guidelines. A copy of the Initial Study and Negative Declaration is attached for the City Council's information. Resolution 93-106 approves the Negative Declaration for the acquisition for said property and finds it to be in conformance with both CEQA and City EIR guidelines. CONCLUSION As stated above, final purchase of the property is contingent upon the completion of the environmental review. Adoption of Resolution 93-106 certifying the Negative Declaration will constitute said completion. ~R~-~b e r t~~S. ~eL e d~e~~d ~ Director of Public Works/ City Engineer ~a~ie Pitcher Administrative Assistant II RSL :KP: kl.b:neher' 1 3 4 5 6 ? 9 10 11 12 15 16 19 20 21 25 27 RESOLUTION NO. 93-106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING THE FINAL NEGATIVE DECLARATION AS ADEQUATE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE NEHER PROPERTY INCLUDING FINDINGS PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: I.
