HUSTON, CITYM]tl~GER FINANCE DEPARTI~NT RESOLUTION NO. 93-89~ ~~NG ~ C~TY BUDGET ~ W~TER E~ERPR~SE BUDGET FOR ~ F~SC~ ~ ~993-94. RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 93-89 appropriating the City's Governmental Funds of $28,098,224; Special Revenue Funds, $2,871,236; Capital Projects Fund, $5,695,653 and the City's Water Enterprise Budget of $15,166,196. FISCAL IMPACT: The adoption of Resolution No. 93-89 will establish the anticipated expenditures for the City of Tustin during fiscal 1993-94 at $51,831,314. DISCUSSION: The Draft 1993-94 City of Tustin Budget was presented to the City council in June. The Council has conducted five Budget Workshops to review- the budget and all capital improvements. At their meeting of August 16, 1993 the City Council held a public hearing regarding the proposed 1993-94 budget. Staff was directed by the City Council to incorporate the following adjustments to the draft budget: le $+43,500 for enhanced traffic control facilities at First and "B" Streets. · <$196,000> in various water enterprise accounts adjusted for reduced connection fees and ground water replenishment assessments. The changes have been incorporated Ro - Director of Finance in Resolution No. 93-89. WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1415h of the Tustin City Code, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a Proposed Annual Budget for the 1993-94 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1993; and WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative body of the City, has revieWed this proposed budget. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve, determine, and order as follows: Section 1. A certain document on file in three (3) copies in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, being marked and designated "City of Tustin Draft Budget 1993-94". Said document, as prepared by the. City Manager and reviewed and adjusted by the City CoUncil, is hereby adopted for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993.
