Motion carried 3-0. Commissioner Weil made the following correction to the minutes of June 28: Planning Commission Action Agenda August 23, 1993 Page 2 Page 14, Commission Concerns (Weil), after "Ms. Courtney" insert the last name "Wierchioch". Commissioner Baker abstained from voting since he was absent from the June 28, 1993 meeting. Report on actions taken at Auqust 16, 1993 City Council meetsnq Staff reported on the subject agenda. COMMISSION CONCERNS: Commissioner Stracker -Note~ that Christine Shingleton would be doing a presentation on kase closure at the California League of Cities on September 9, 1993. Staff noted that a presentation was also being done at the Planning Directors Association meeting on September 13, 1993. -Thanked staff for quick response on patching his street. Commissioner Baker -In,aired about the status of the Cosmopolitan project -- Staff informed the Commission that the project had been sold and 5hat staff was working with the new owner on the project. Commissioner Butler -Commended ssaff on their work with the Micro. Center project. -Aske~ if s%aff could acquire a "news clipping" service to provide newspaper clippings related to the city to the Commsss!on.
