APPROVAL OF DEMANDS Recommendation: Approve Demands in the amount of $13,216.46. DESIGN REVIEW 93-024, COURTYARD SHOPPING CENTER (DONAHUE SCHRIBER) The applicant has requested that this item be tabled as they are considering alternative design options, including other potential improvements to the center. Recommendation: Table this item at the applicant's request. SUBLEASE OF SECOND FLOOR OF CITY OFFICES AT 15222 DEL AMO AVENUE The Agency's lease of the space on Del Amo Avenue expires on'April 30, 1994, and the Agency and the property owner have not found a new tenant for the building. Recommendation: Approve a sublease of 10,243 square feet of office space at 15222 Del Amo Avenue, on a month-to-month basis, to Micro Electronics, Inc. (Micro' Center) and authorize the Agency's Executive Director to execute the agreement as recommended by the Community Development Department. ADOPTION OF AGENCY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-94 The Redevelopment Agency's action will adopt the expenditure program_ for the 1993-94 fiscal year. Recommendation: Adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 93-10, a Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency, adopting the Agency's 1993-94 budget of $9,039,086.00 as recommended by the Finance Department: Redevelopment Agency Agenda I September 7, 1993 RESOLUTION NO. ..iDA 93-10 - A RESOLUT, OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE AGENCY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING FROM ANTICIPATED REVENUE OF THE AGENCY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1993-94 8. DESIGN REVIEW 93-020 (MICRO CENTER) The applicant is proposing a Design Review to make various site and building improvements to an existing 45,600 square foot building to establtsh a computer retail store located on the southwest corner of Edinger and Del Amo Avenues. Recommendation by the Community Development Department: a. Approve the Environmental Determination for the project by adopting the following Resolution No. RDA 93-12: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 93-12- A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR) FOR THE PACIFIC CENTER EAST SPECIFIC PLAN (FINAL EIR 90-1 ) IS ADEQUATE TO SERVE AS THE PROGRAM EIR FOR DESIGN REVIEW 93-020 AND ALL FEASIBLE MITIGATION MEASURES HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED AS REQUIRED BY THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT b. Approve Design Review 93-020 by adopting the following Resolution No. RDA 93-13: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 93-13 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING DESIGN REVIEW 93-020 (MICRO CENTER) FOR VARIOUS SITE AND BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS AT 1100 EDINGER AVENUE 9. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING WITH MICRO CENTER Micro Electronics, Inc. ("Micro Center") has specifically requested City and/or Redevelopment Agency financial assistance to assist them in offsetting extraordinary costs in their anticipated opening of a Micro Center facility at the southwest .corner of Edinger and Del Amo Avenues in the City. 10. Recommendation: Approve a Letter of Understanding with Micro Center regarding Micro Center's request for financial assistance and authorize the Executive Director to sign and transmit to Micro Center the subject Letter of Understanding as recommended by the Community Development Department. -- OTHER BUSINESS 11. ADJOURNMENT The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for Monday, September 20, 1993, 7:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way.
