SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING TO DISCUSS THE PROPOSED CITY OF TUSTIN BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1993-94
RECOMMENDATION:
Direct staff to prepare a resolution to adopt the Draft 1993-94
Budget as amended by the City'Council.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City Council's action will establish an expenditure program for
the 1993-94 Fiscal Year of approximately $54 million for the
governmental funds of the City of Tustin.
DISCUSSION:
As of August 16, 1993 the City Council will have held five public
budget workshops to review and discuss the City's Draft Budget for
fiscal 1993-94. During the Public Hearing on August 16, staff
expects to receive direction from the City Council as to any
changes or adjustments to be made to the Draft Budget prior to
adoption. To date staff has identified the following changes to
the Draft Budget that could be approved by the City Council:

+$43,500 for enhanced traffic control facilities at First and
"B" Streets.

<$196,000> in various Water Enterprise Accounts adjusted for
reduced connection fees and ground water replenishment
assessments to be paid to the Orange County Water District and
the East Orange County Water District.
If approved, these and any other changes directed by the City
Council will be incorporated into a budget adopting resolution that
will be brought back to the City CoUncil at their meeting of
September 7, 1993.
