FISCAL IMPACT None, the allocated funds will be placed on reserve for the City of Tustin, in the County Local Transportation Fund (LTF). BACKGROUND _ An allocation of $15,445.46 will be available to the City in FY 1993-94, under SB 821 Program for Bicycle and/or Pedestrian Facilities. On April 5, 1993, the City Council awarded the construction contract for sidewalks and access ramps, SB 821 Project, 1992-93 FY in the amount of $20,637.20. This project which will be under construction soon will provide continuous concrete sidewalk and ramps to the easterly City limit on the north side of Walnut Avenue. The SB 821 allocated funds for the project were $524.83 from 1991-92 FY allocation and $13,021 from 1992-93 FY allocation. Based on the contract amount, the project requires additional allocation in the amount of $7,091.35 which will be applied for in this year's application. This will leave $8,354^.11 available for a new sidewalk project. The City this year, is proposing a new sidewalk on the west side of Myford Road just north of Walnut Avenue to link with the existing sidewalk on Myford Road approximately 400' north of Walnut Avenue. The proposed project will be added as a separate phase to the Sidewalk and Curb and Gutter Project for 1993-94 FY, after the City receives project approval from the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) in May or June, 1993. The Project Engineer's estimate of $8,354 is the amount available for new projects in this year's application.
