CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Pontious at 8:00 p.m. at the Tustin Area Senior Center, 200 South "C" Street, Tustin, California. 2. ROLL CALL Members Present: Leslie Anne Pontious, Chairperson Jim Potts, Chairperson Pro Tem Charles E. Puckett Thomas R. Saltarelli Jeffery M. Thomas Members Absent: None Recording Secretary: Mary E. Wynn Others Present: William A. Huston, Exec. Dir./City Manager James G. Rourke, City Attorney W. Douglas Franks, Chief of Police Robert Ledendecker, Director of Public Works Ronald A. Nault, Finance Director Dana Kasdan, Engineering Services Manager Rita Westfield, Asst. Dir./Com. Development Bettie Correa, Senior Personnel Analyst Dan Fox, Senior Planner Robert Ruhl, Field Services Manager Gary Veeh, Water Services Manager Susan Jones, Recreation Superintendent Doug Anderson, Transportation Engineer Randy Westrick, Recreation Supervisor Valerie Whiteman, Chief Deputy City Clerk Approximately 30 in the audience 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - FEBRUARY 16, 1993 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of February 16, 1993. Motion carried 5-0. 4. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in the amount of $461,593.64. Motion carried 5-0. PURCHASES FOR CITY HALL Rita Westfield, Assistant Director of Community Development, reported the Civic Center renovation was scheduled for completion in August 1993. An inventory of all current furniture had revealed a need to purchase new and renovate existing furniture for City Hall. She stated that under provisions of the City's purchasing ordinance, City purchases through the Orange County Cooperative Purchasing Program were allowed; however, various required REDEVELOPMENT AGEN '4INUTES Page 2, 3-1-93 6. 7. furniture were unavailable through the Program and Agency approval was required to advertise for bids. Agency/staff discussion followed regarding the financial advantage of participating in the County Cooperative Purchasing Program. It was moved by Potts. seconded by Thomas, to adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 93-01 authorizing participation in the County of Orange Cooperative Purchasing Program for Steelcase Avenir Product and accessory Steelcase products for the City Hall; and authorize the advertisement of bids for miscellaneous furniture for City Hall: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 93-01 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM Motion carried 5-0. OTHER BUSINESS - None ADJOURNMENT Mayor Pontious meeting of the 15, 1993, 7:00 adjourned the Redevelopment p.m., at the meeting at 8:05 P.M.
