HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA MINUTES 09-19-94 RDA NO. 2 9-19-94 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA SEPTEMBER 6, 1994 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Saltarelli at 8:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - AUGUST 15, 1994 REGULAR MEETING It was moved by Potts, seconded by Worle¥, to approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of August 15, 1994. Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS It was moved by Potts, seconded by Worle¥, to approve Demands in the amount of $56,139.68. Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 3. FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF TUSTIN POLICE DEPANTMBNT W~IGHT ROOM It was moved by Potts, seconded by Worley, to adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 94-12 accepting said work and authorizing the recordation of the Notice of Completion: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 94-12 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE TUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT WEIGHT ROOM PROJECT NO. 040400-801095 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ~,JTES Page 2, 9-6-94 Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 4. MICRO CENTER DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT It was moved by Doyle, seconded by Potts, to (1) approve the Environmental Determination for the project by adopting the following Resolution No. RDA 94-10; and (2) approve the Disposition and Development Agreement by and among Micro Electronics, Inc. (Micro Center), Catellus Development Corporation, the City and the Redevelopment Agency to provide Micro Electronics, Inc. with financial assistance for the improvement of the property at 1100 Edinger Avenue: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 94-10 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR) FOR THE PACIFIC CENTER EAST SPECIFIC PLAN (FINAL EIR 90-1) IS ADEQUATE TO SERVE AS THE PROGRAM EIR FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BY AND AMONG THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CATELLUS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND MICRO ELECTRONICS, INC., AND THAT ALL FEASIBLE MITIGATION MEASURES HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED AS REQUIRED BY THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT ~otion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. 5. PUBLIC HEARING - ADOPTING THE AGENCY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994-95 Chairperson Saltarelli opened the Public Hearing at 8:30' p.m. There were no speakers on the subject and the Public Hearing was closed. It was moved by Potts, seconded by Worlev, to adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 94-11 adopting the Agency 1994-95 budget of $11,692,724.00: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 94-11 - A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE AGENCY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING FROM ANTICIPATED REVENUE OF THE AGENCY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1994-95 Motion carried 4-0, Thomas absent. OTHER BUSINESS - None CLOSED SESSION - None ADJOURNN~WT Chairperson Saltarelli adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday, September 19, 1994, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial Way.
