RESOLUTION NO. 94-106, ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND WATER
ENTERPRISE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1994-95.
RECOM/~ENDATION:
Adopt Resolution No. 94-106 appropriating the city's Governmental
Funds of $26',822,935; Special Revenue Funds, $4,376,204; Capital
Projects Fund, $11,580,223 and the City's Water Enterprise Budget
of $14,978,618.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The adoption of Resolution No. 94-106 will establish the
anticipated expenditures for the City of Tustin during fiscal 1994-
95 at $57,757,980. The $57,757,980 does not include the assessment
district expenditures which were adopted upon establishment of the
districts nor does it include the RDA budget which will be adopted
by the Agency.
DISCUSSION:
The Draft 1994-95 City of Tustin Budget was presented to the City
Council in July. The Council has conducted three Budget Workshops
to review the budget and all capital improvements. At the meeting
of September 6, 1994 the City Council will hold a public hearing
regarding the proposed 1994-95 budget. Staff was directed by the
City Council to incorporate the following adjustments to the draft
budget:
Decrease projected Property Tax revenue from $4,222,000
to $3,800,00.
· Increase Sales Tax revenue from $10,974,000 to 11,150,000
Revised projected 1994-95 Tustin Street Lighting and the
Tustin Landscape and Lighting Expenditures to reflect the
revised expenditures and rates as presented to the City
Council during the month of May 1994.

Increased the Water Enterprise Operation budget by $9,500
to purchase critical Capital Outlay Equipment that has
been delayed for the past two years.
Added $5,700 in support of the Tustin Area Historical
Society.

RESOLUTION 94-106
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING
FROM THE ANTICIPATED REVENUES OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1994-95.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1415h of the Tustin
City Code, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to
the City Council a Proposed Annual Budget for the 1994-95
fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative body of the
City, has reviewed this proposed budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin
does hereby resolve, determine, and order as follows:
Section 1.
A certain document on file in three (3) copies
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Tustin, being marked and designated "City of
T~stin Draft Budget 1994-95,,. Said document,
as prepared by the City Manager and reviewed
and adjusted by the City Council, is hereby
adopted for the fiscal year commencing July 1,
1994.
Section 2.
The following sums of money are hereby
appropriated from the revenues of the City of
Tustin for the 1994-95 fiscal year.
