REGULAR BUSINESS ( ITEMS I THROUGH 3 )
1. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
Recommendation: Approve Demands in the amount of $104,731.44.
2, APPROVAL OF MINUTES - AUGUST 1, 1994 REGULAR MEETING
Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of August 1, 1994.
3. AGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE RENAISSANCE PROJECT (FORMERLY
COSMOPOLITAN APARTMENTS)
Based upon Agency right-of-way needs along Newport Avenue and the requirement
under California Redevelopment Law that any housing development within a project
area include affordable housing units (eight units in the Renaissance development
must be affordable to families at 50% of the median income), the applicant is
requesting Agency financial assistance for the project including assistance for
dedication of right-of-way along Newport Avenue.
Recommendation: Meet in Closed Session to provide the staff direction in
negotiating with the developer of the Renaissance Project concerning Agency
financial assistance for the project as recommended by the Community Development
Department.
OTHER BUSINESS
CLOSED SESSION - Conference with Real Property Neeotiator; Re: 14882-14942
Newport Avenue, Tustin, California. City of Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency and
D&D Development are negotiating terms of Agency assistance for redevelopment of subject
property. Action taken and final documents will be reported in accordance with the Brown
Act.
ADJOURNMENT- The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled
for Tuesday, September 6, 1994, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial
Way.
