LAMBERT SCHOOL LEASE RENEWAL

To extend the lease with theTustin Unified School District for use
of Lambert School for a period of three months commencing April 1,
1994, and ending June 30, 1994, and authorize the Mayor to execute
the same.

The CoUncil last renewed an .amendment .to the Lambert Lease in
February 1994. At the meeting of April 25, 1994, the Board of'
Education approved the extension of the lease of Building C at
Lambert School to the City of Tustin for the period of three months
commencing April 1, 1994 through June 30, 1994.
Since 1979, the City has leased approximately 6,000 square feet in
classroom space from the Tustin Unified School District. Lambert
School houses the City's numerous classes for children and adults,
the Child Development Program and other community groups.
The School District plans to use the space as a testing facility.
Most classes, except the preschool, could be relocated to the
Columbus Tustin Gymnasium in the fall. Meanwhile, City staff will
continue to work with the School District to utilize the Lambert
facility and to locate a suitable space for the preschool.

Attachment: Amendment to Lease
AMENDMENT NUMBER 12
This Amendment to the Lease is made and entered into as of
the 26th day-of April, 1994, between the Tustin Unified School
District (hereinafter designated as "LESSOR") and the City of
Tustin (hereinafter designated as "LESSEE").
WITNESS ETH :
WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE have previously entered into a
Lease for the following:
The premises and building thereon known as Building C of the
C.E. Lambert SChool, located at 1151 San Juan Street,
Tustin, California.
AND WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend said Lease.
NOW THEREFORE, parties agree as follows:
1. The term of the Lease is hereby extended by a period
three months commencing on April 1,'.1994,"and terminating June
30, 1994.
2. The monthly rental for such period shall be at the rate
of $2,257 (two-thousand two-hundred fifty-seventy dollars) and
shall be payable quarterly in advance.
3. All other provisions of the existing Lease are continued
on the terms and conditions thereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the LESSOR has caused this Lease to be
executed by its duly authorized.officer and the LESSEE has caused
this Lease to be executed by having its name affixed by its duly
authorized officer(s).
