'APPROVAL OF MINUTES - APRIL 19, 1994 REGULAR MEETING e m . Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of April 19, 1994. APPROV~ OF DEMANDS Recommendation.; Approve Demands in the amount of $230,894.21. FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZATION TO FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE TUSTIN CIVIC CENTER EXPANSION/RENOVATION , The Civic Center Expansion/Renovation project started construction in August 1991 and the punchlist work on the facility was completed in early April, 1994. Recommendation: Adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 94-4 accepting said public improvements and authorizing the recordation of the Notice of Completion as recommended by the Community Development and Public Works Departments: RESOLUTION NO. RDA 94-4 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE TUSTIN CIVIC CENTER EXPANSION/RENOVATION PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AT 1021 EAST EDINGER STREET The Redevelopment Agency, in a closed session on June 21, 1994, authorized staff to initiate negotiations for the acquisition of property identified as the Case Swayne property located at 1021 East Edinger Street. Recommendation by the Community Development Department: a. Adopt the following Resolution No. RDA 94-5 certifying a Negative Declaration dealing with the acquisition of the property: Redevelopment Agency Agenda I May 2, 1994 bi Gl RESOLUTION i~1~. RDA 94-5 - A RESOLUTION OF. cIE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING THE FINAL NEGATIVE DECLARATION AS ADEQUATE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY AT 1021 EAST EDINGER STREET INCLUDING REQUIRED FINDINGS PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT Approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between Case Swayne Company, Inc., the limited partnership known as 1021 East Edinger Street and the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency for the property at 1021 East Edinger Street to acquire right-of-way for the Newport Avenue extension to Edinger Street. Appropriate $2,900,000.00 from the South Central Redevelopment Project Capital Projects Fund for the acquisition of the property. OTHER BUSINESS CLOSED SESSION - During the course of conducting the business set forth on this agenda at a regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency, the Agency may convene in Closed Session to c°h-sider matters of pending or potential litigation, or personnel matters, pursuant to Government Code Sections 54956.9 or 54957.6. Reports relating to (a) purchase and sale of real property, (b) matters of pending or potential litigation, (c) employee compensation, or which are exempt from public disclosure under the California Public Records Act, may be reviewed by the Agency during a permitted Closed Session and are not available for Public inspection. At such time as final actions are taken by the Agency on any of 'these subjects, the minutes will reflect all required disclosures of information. ' ' · ADJOURNMENT- The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for Monday, May 16, 1994, 7:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way.
