DISCUSSION:
This project consists of replacing a deteriorating 16-inch r/vetted steel main (installed in 1907) in
Newport Avenue from north of Foothill Boulevard to south of Warren Avenue, and the installation of
a new main in Warren Avenue from Holt Avenue to Newport Avenue. These lines will tie into the
existing water system mains and reservoirs, and will interconnect with the city's pressure zones.
