At this time members of the public may address the Commission regarding any items not on the agenda and within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission (NO action can be taken off-agenda items unless authorized by law). Commissioner Weil questioned the fact that there had not been a vote noted following the motion on Item 2, Conditional Use Permit 93-018, page 4. That vote should have shown passage, 5-0. Commissioner Kasalek moved, Baker seconded to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carried 5-0. Old Town Educational Video Project Presentation Received and Filed. Planning Commission Action Agenda January 24, 1994 Page 6 STAFF CONCERNS: · Report on actions taken at January 17, 1994 City Council meeting Staff reported on the subject agenda. Staff reminded the Commission of a Task Force Meeting, February 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. COMMISSION-CONCERNS: Commissioner Kasalek Asked staff if the Public Works "Do Not Block" signs were effective and if one could be installed a't E1 Camino and East. Commissioner Stracker - Asked if the earthquake had done any damage in Tustin. Extended an invitation from the Los Angeles City Engineer, through his firm, for volunteers with technical knowledge to help access damage to buildings in the earthquake area. Commissioner Baker Asked, in lieu of what has happened in Northridge, would the City be considering any revision to the code concerning tuck under parking. Commissioner Butler Asked if other cities also have approval to produce videos. Asked if all Commissioners could attend the Task Force meeting on February 3rd. Commissioner Weil Was concerned about earthquake preparedness. She has sent for a video with suggestions for things to-do and will share it with anyone who would like to see it.
