Daylight for half of the way with no construction. Moulton was backed up
from the 405 to Lake Forest. We passed'the Santa Ana McDonnell
Douglas facility and hit the railroad tracks south of the 55. The hi-cad
battery for the front lights popped off along with the tail light. Both fell into
pieces, Only the gasket for the taillight was never found. All parts were
replaced and we were back on the road within 5.minutes.

Judy had a great time. The rear tire had a new latex tube and both tires
held 120 psi. After the accident on the tracks, ! felt a thunk or flat spot on
the front wheel. One spoke was completely loose. The bike is going in
the shop this weekend. Riding up Moulton, just north of E! Toro, traffic ..................... '
was heavy and moderate. All cars slowed in our lane and merged left
before passing us. Nobody even honked.
