HUSTON, CITY MANAGER PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION 1994-95 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS SCHEDULE/STATUS REPORT UPDATE (FOURTH QUARTER) RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council at their meeting of September 18, 1995 receive and file this report. FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact associated with this report, it merely summarizes the progress made on the individual projects that were funded in the City's 1994-95 Capital Improvement Program. BACKGROUND Staff has prepared for the City Council's information a graphical charting report of the schedule/status for the fourth and final quarter of the 1994-95 fiscal year Capital Improvement Program. The charting is arranged to correspond to the same order as that found in the City's Capital Improvement Project (C.I.P.) Budget Document itself. The red graphical bars indicate actual tasks or portions of tasks completed, while the blue graphical bars indicate the planned scheduling of activities. In addition, a new feature has been added to the charting which is shown as a green band and depicts a baseline schedule which can be utilized for comparing actual and planned progress to an overall established schedule. The document has been dynamic and has reflected the various status/schedule changes that have occurred in the City's extensive Capital Improvement Program since the last update. With the adoption of the 1995-96 Capital Improvement Program at the last City Council meeting, a new schedule/status report will be prepared. It is staff's intention to provide the City Council with an update of the new Capital Improvement Program on a semi-annual basis in a similar format. Tim D. Serlet ',.
