CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor pro tem Sharp. II; ROLL CALL Present: Councilmen: Sharp, Saltarelli, Welsh Absent: Councilmen: Edgar, Schuster Others Present: James G. Rourke, City Attorney Ruth C. Poe, City Clerk Mayor pro temSharp immediately recessed the meeting awaiting the arrival of Mayor Edgar. Meeting reconvened at 9:54 P.M. Present: Councilmen: Edgar, Sharp, Saltarelli, Welsh Absent: Councilmen: Schuster Others Present: James G. Rourke, City Attorney Ruth C. Poe, City Clerk City Administrator, William Bopf III. New Business 1. MARINE CORPS AIR STATION(HELICOPTER) ANNEXATION NO. 71B TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN. Mayor Edgar stated that this is a regular adjourned meeting,~the meeting of April 19, 1976 having been adjourned to April 21, 1976 and the meeting of April 21, 1976 having been adjourned to April 22, 1976. a) RESOLUTION NO. 76-32~A A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST OF PROPERTY OWNERS HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "MARINE CORPS AIR STATION (HELICOPTER ANNEXATION NO. 71B TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN. Moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Welsh that Resolution No. 76-32-A be read by title only. Carried unan- imously. Moved by Welsh, seconded by Saltarelli that Resolution No. 76-32-A be passed and adopted. Carried unanimously. b) ORDINANCE NO. 682 An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED AS THE "MARINE CORPS AIR STATION (HELICOPTER) ANNEXATION NO. 71B TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN", (URGENCY MEASURE) Moved by Sharp, seconded by Welsh that Ordinance No. 682 have first reading by title only. Carried unanimously. Moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Welsh that Ordinance No. 682 be introduced. Carried unanimously. Moved b~ Saltarelli, seconded by Welsh that Ordinance No. 682 have second reading by title. Carried unanimously. Moved by Saltarelli, seconded by Sharp ~Qr~nan~e' No. 682 be passed and adopted as an urgency ordinance. Carried by roll call. Ayes: Edgar, Sharp, Sattarelli, Welsh, Noes: None, Absent: Schuster. 2. REPLACEMENT OF FIREMAN DUE TO RESIGNATION Mr. Bopf reported that City Fireman Pash has resigned and requested permission to fill this vacancy. Moved by Welsh, seconded by Edgar that vacancy be filled as requested. Carried. IV. ADJOURNMENT Mayor declared meeting adjourned to the next regular meeting of May 3, 1976. MAYOR ATTEST: CITY ~
