MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
NARCH 20, 1995
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Saltarelli at 8:35 p.m.
at the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California.

1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MARCH 6, 1995 REGULAR MEETING
It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve the
Redevelopment Agency Minutes of March 6, 1995.
Motion carried 5-0.
2. APPROVAL OF DEMANDS
It was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to approve Demands in
the amount of.$26,647.18.
Motion carried 5-0.
UPDATE OF AGENCY'S CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
It.was moved by Potts, seconded by Thomas, to adopt the following
Resolution No. RDA 95-1, amending Sections 5 and 8.1 of the
Conflict of Interest Code; and repealing Resolution No. RDA 80-5:
RESOLUTION NO. RDA 95-1 - A RESOLUTION OF THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
THE MODEL CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE BY REFERENCE, AMENDING THE LIST
OF DESIGNATED POSITIONS, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. RDA 80-5
Motion carried 5-0.

4. PROPERTY ACQUISITION - YOUTH CENTER
It was moved by Potts, seconded by' Thomas, to authorize the
Executive Director to negotiate an architectural services agreement
and authorize execution of said architectural agreement in an
amount not to exceed $50,000.00 for the anticipated Youth Center at
14722 Newport Avenue.
Motion carried 5-0.

FREE THROW CONTEST/COLUMBUS TUSTIN GY~NASI~
Chairperson Pro Tem Potts noted that Chairperson Saltarelli had won
the free-throw contest at the Columbus Tustin Gymnasium opening;
and requested staff publicize gymnasium hours.
Agencymember Doyle explained that he was unable to attend the
gymnasium opening due to a serious illness of one of his restaurant
employees.
AMICUS CURIAE BRIEF
Agencymember Thomas noted the letter he had received from Chris
Layton regarding an amicus curiae brief would be forwarded to
staff.
CLOSED SESSION 8TATEMENT
Alex Carrassi,.member of the audience, noted address discrepancy
regarding closed session statement.
CLO8ED 8E88ION
Chairperson Saltarelli announced the Agency would confer in closed
session with its real property negotiator regarding property located at
14722 Newport Avenue, Tustin, California. The negotiating parties were
Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency and Physicians' Office Services,
Inc., a California corporation, property owner. The instructions to the
negotiator would include price and terms of payment.
ADJOURnmENT
Chairperson Saltarelli adjourned the meeting at 8:40 p.m. The next
regular meeting of the~Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for Monday,
April 3, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 300 Centennial
Way.
